Bangalore is nicknamed the "Garden City" for its gardens and parks and was once called a Pensioner's Paradise. It is India's third most populated city and the fifth most populated urban agglomeration. The gentle climate and the perfect combination of the sun and the rain provide an ideal environment which is very sustainable for the greenery. The city has an independent urban trophic web taking place where plants, animals and insects are all adapting and thriving in the city’s growth and development. You will not believe how there are amazing animals (birds, spiders, snakes and insects) and trees surviving and living right in our city streets, that are in fact, providing us with so many services. We will meet these amazing other living beings who share the city with us and enjoy breakfast at a traditional small Karnataka breakfast joint called Bangalore Café famous for its benne dosa and every other traditional dish. Seeing the city from this new point of view of a living, breathing and diverse city, will change how you feel about Bangalore.
